Waterside Hotel Peterhead

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was quite good. We were there on a coach trip. The rooms were clean, but they weren’t connected to the hotel, so we had to put our coats on to go to meals.

This was our sixth Christmas Day meal in a row, and the food was delicious as usual. The staff and service are exceptional, with a lovely, friendly family atmosphere. Thanks to James, Hilda and everyone on staff. See you again next year.

The hotel is clean and the staff are lovely. Manager James is especially friendly and helpful. It could use a bit of an update, and it’s somewhat out of the way, so you’ll need a car or public transport to get anywhere else.

My brother and his wife had their wedding at the Waterside Hotel, and it was a beautiful day from morning through to night, full of laughter and ending with a memorable evening celebration. The accommodations were good, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Jackson, the director, deserves a special mention. His professionalism, dedication, cheerful manner, clear communication and close attention to detail kept everything running smoothly. He helped make the whole day truly unforgettable. My family and I stayed four nights, and everything else at the hotel was excellent. The only small drawback was the bar service. A few times we had to wait for someone to come serve us, and it could have been a little quicker.
