Premier Inn Pickering

The unlimited breakfast was fresh, hot and had plenty to choose from. We also ate in the restaurant that evening, where service was quick and the meal was delicious and well priced. At the front desk, Angela, I think that’s how you spell it, welcomed me with a genuine smile and gave me useful local tips. Check-in was smooth, and the team made sure I had what I needed. I was really impressed with the service at this Premier Inn and would definitely return.

We had a child with us and ate dinner there both nights for convenience. The food was great, and breakfast was especially good if you’re hungry. The staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. The room was super clean, with a lovely comfortable bed, and the price and location were just what we’d hoped for from a Premier Inn. A lovely stay for all of us.

The breakfast room was packed, with the kids off school, but the buffet stayed piping hot and staff kept it stocked. Check-in was friendly and helpful too. We slept peacefully for both nights in room 221 on the second floor. There’s a decent bar and restaurant downstairs, and the room had good facilities: a large wall-mounted TV, comfy chair, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, and shower gels and soaps. Pickering is about a 10-minute walk away.

The restaurant gets busy, so it’s best to book ahead. There’s a varied menu and they cater for all allergies. Breakfast has the usual English and continental options. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy as you’d expect. The hotel is about a mile from Pickering centre but within easy walking distance. On-site parking is free with plenty of space, just enter your Reg when checking in.
