Atholl Palace

We host our annual “Party at the Palace” here, and it's such a lovely place for our dance event. The staff are excellent throughout, the food is top notch again, and restaurant service is first class. A special mention to Events Manager Catherine and restaurant manger Flavio, both of whom are so helpful. See you next year.

The food in the bar was delicious, and the portions were huge. We didn't eat in the restaurant. We loved our two-night stay, with friendly, helpful staff and a truly stunning hotel. We went out both days, though we could just as happily have stayed in and explored the beautiful, extensive grounds. The musician/singer in Stag's bar on Friday 23rd was brilliant and really won over the crowd. Thanks for singing my request, 'if you could read my mind'. We'll definitely be back.

The Hogmanay celebrations were a real highlight, with a delicious four-course meal, bagpipes and traditional ceilidh dancing. The village street party on new year's day rounded everything off perfectly. We were lucky enough to have snow, which made an already spectacular place feel even more magical. Atholl Palace is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, a short stroll from Pitlochry, with lovely views in every direction and extensive grounds for walks. After exploring, it was lovely to sit by the roaring fires and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. The hotel is beautiful and elegant, and on my first stay it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, the food was amazing throughout, and the staff were welcoming, attentive and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. I'll definitely return. A huge thank you to the whole team.

The NYE party was packed with music and such a memorable night. We all felt glamorous, and the village street party still went ahead on new year's day in softly falling snow. Someone even handed me the best mince pie I've ever had. We had an idyllic Hogmanay. The food was fantastic and plentiful, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They made us feel like VIPs, even remembering that I take non-dairy milk in my coffee. The views are gorgeous, the rooms warm and cosy, and Pitlochry village is just a 10-minute walk away. I can't fault the hotel and would love to return. A brilliant holiday.
