Our room had a lovely vintage four-poster bed and breathtaking Highland views. It was immaculately clean, warm and fitted with premium bedding. The modern bathroom was a nice bonus, with adjustable mirror lighting for makeup or shaving. The location is ideal, right in the centre and just a two-minute walk to the high street. Mark and Helen were inspiring, exceptionally hospitable hosts who always made sure we were comfortable. From our first conversation with Mark, everything was a pleasure. They were quick to respond and kindly arranged an early check-in and late check-out. Though we arrived much later than planned, checking in was hassle-free. Seasonal treats in the lounge, including pastries, sherry and port, made us feel welcome straight away. The lounge is warm and inviting, beautifully furnished with antiques and looking out over the Highlands. And don't miss breakfast. It was quite simply the best in Pitlochry, with a menu of options you can tailor to your preferences, rather than a standard buffet. A very well-deserved 10/10. We'll absolutely return and highly recommend this place for its hosts, breakfast, rooms and location.

The hosts were attentive, amazing and so helpful. They took time to suggest things to see and do, and recommended good places to eat and drink. The location was ideal, just a two-minute walk to the Main Street. We stayed two nights at Carra Beag guesthouse at the end of November. My boyfriend, my mum and dad and I had two rooms, both comfortable and really well equipped. Breakfast each morning was brilliant, with plenty of choice. A 10/10 experience, and we'd stay again without a second thought.

The lounge downstairs is welcoming, and there was chocolate cake and sherry to try. Our room was immaculately clean and lovely and warm, with very comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities and a small fridge. We'd never stayed here before, but after two nights we'll definitely come back. It's right in the centre, just a short walk to the heart of Pitlochry. Breakfast this morning was superb: porridge with honey and milk, then a full breakfast with locally sourced produce. The haggis was especially tasty. A fabulous guest house all round.

Breakfasts were fantastic, and the little extras, complimentary port, sherry, mince pies and cake, were so kind. Mark was a fabulous host and nothing was a bother. We spent three nights here for new year and the property was absolutely stunning, 10/10. Definitely coming back. See you next year, guys.

The house is stunning and right in the heart of Pitlochry. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like good coffee in the rooms and chocolates and slippers waiting on arrival. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely be back. Thank you! Paul and Lucy
