The room was nicely laid out with everything we needed, and Saturday's price was great. The Plymouth Moxy is handy for the pavilions if you're seeing a show, and you can walk into town or to royal William yard. But the noise travelled: I heard the next room talking, coughing and getting phone notifications, plus stomping upstairs all morning. The new bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. On Valentine's Saturday the bar was short-staffed, and the queue moved slowly, which killed the vibe. We tossed and turned all night, though I can't say exactly why.

The busy bar downstairs had plenty of people and was well stocked, yet the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The bar area looked inviting and was nicely presented. Food was nice enough, though a little pricey, but we were happy to pay for the convenience. It beat our expectations and other budget hotel brands. We'll be back in a few months, and I'm looking forward to a cocktail and a game of pool.

This is my go-to hotel. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfy, and the surroundings are nice. The bar's fine too, though if you arrive when groups are ordering cocktails, you might wait quite a while. Just a minor issue.

There’s lots to do in the lounge and bar, with pool, board games, table football and an arcade machine. Breakfast was excellent, the rates were good, and the beds, linen and pillows were lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the place is new and modern with a great vibe. I had a fabulous stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel or another Moxy.

Breakfast was very nice and we paid an excellent price. The hotel was clean and modern too. Take care when paying for parking, as they fine you if you get it wrong. The hotel sorted out the issue immediately, so it all worked out well.
