The Redan Inn

That steak and ale pie was a highlight. The pastry had the crumbly feel of shortcrust, but somehow even more so, and it was delicious. The three of us had dinner here this week and were really impressed by the food, the friendly team, and the good choice of drinks. We’ll definitely go back.

We tried most of the menu, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Simon explained that doing things properly matters to them, and they won’t cut corners. They wouldn’t even offer custard unless they could make it from scratch. That care really comes through, and their homemade kimchi is to die for 😍. We stayed at The Redan Inn for almost a week and had a genuinely wonderful time. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and the super king bed was a dream. The towels and sheets were fresh and professionally clean, and we slept really well every night. Simon, the inn manager, was friendly and accommodating, and communication with him was always excellent. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. When I accidentally left a bag on a chair in the restaurant, the team found it for me. All the staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful. We’d highly recommend The Redan Inn for a lovely meal or a stay of a few nights. It’s a real gem.

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the avocado on sourdough. We stayed one night and had a really lovely time. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, and they even added extra heaters to make sure it stayed warm. Very pleased, thanks for a lovely stay.
