The restaurant was decorated for Valentine’s Day, which was a lovely surprise, and they'd clearly put effort into making the evening special. We booked for dinner and wanted a local country pub with gluten-free options. The gluten-free menu had lots of choice and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Dan was very attentive in his Maître d' role, and the chef deserves credit too. I visited the restaurant for the first time recently. Both starters and main courses for two were amazing, full of flavour, and generous in size. We'll be back soon.

We warmed up by a roaring fire after our walk, while lots of well-behaved dogs lounged between the tables. The pub was really dog-friendly. We had Sunday lunch at The Bull and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive without being too much, and the food was generous and delicious. We'll be back!

The Sunday roast was generous and delicious, actually one of the best we've had out. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made a real fuss of our dog. We'd definitely recommend it and will bring friends.

The fixed-price menu was £23 for three courses, with plenty of choice, including for our gluten-free guest, who was very happy. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We've eaten here before, including at a busy Sunday carvery, and the service is still good. Worth the trip to Stanford Dingley.
