The pub was welcoming and served great food, and the toilets and showers were immaculate. We stayed one night at this lovely little site before heading back to Spain. It would be our dream spot if there were a dog walk nearby, but Parys Mountain isn’t far away, so we’ll be back.

Really good value for the night, which was the main thing that sold me. I had evening food and enjoyed it, but I slept in and missed breakfast. If it’s as good as the evening meal, I’m sure it would’ve been nice too. The room was big, clean and comfy, and the shower had loads of power. The area was lovely and quiet, tucked away. I came by myself for a cheeky night to destress from work, checked in with the woman at the bar, and she showed me to my room. I’d recommend it and will pop back when I need another night away. ☺️☺️
The pub food was really good, especially the steak, and my wife raved about her Eggs Royale with smoked salmon. Breakfast was great too, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed at the camper site next door, which was brilliant and dog friendly. The ladies’ and gents’ toilets and shower rooms were spotless.
We were offered a welcome package with flowers, balloons, champagne, raspberries and cookies. During our stay the champagne was a bottle of Tattinger. The four themed ensuite rooms have showers with good pressure and hot water, and USB ports for charging, which came in handy. There’s also a small caravan park and bell tents for glamping. The evening menu had plenty to choose from, including vegetarian and vegan options when we visited. The room rate includes an à la carte breakfast, which caravan park guests can also buy in advance. The beer was well kept, with Brakspear Gravity on as a good session beer, as well as an IPA. There’s a little shop in the bar for gifts and memorabilia. The Ring is in Rhosgoch and makes a good base for exploring Anglesey’s north coast. Dogs are welcome, and the bar and restaurant offer Sir Woofchester meals and treats. The team were lovely, helpful and chatty.
We’ve already booked to come back tomorrow because the food was that good. The staff were attentive and wonderful, and the mocktails were lush. The place felt warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. Thanks everyone for a lovely experience.
