The location is handy, on the edge of Richmond Park, with sporting activities nearby, 8 miles from Heathrow and a 15 min walk from Richmond mainline and underground. The rooms were absurdly clean, spacious for belongings and extras, and had a big bathroom. There's 24 hour room service and free, extraordinarily fast Wi-Fi, just ask reception for the passcode. Reception was helpful and directive, and the service was great. There were plenty of plugs, plus a heater and AC, which suited me perfectly. It's one of the most perfect hotels I've visited, great for any occasion. The price hits hard, though, and breakfast isn't free, you have to pay. Very nice place to stay, if you bring a wad of cash.

The Petersham Hotel feels like home every time I come back. I've stayed there for over 11 years and wouldn't choose anywhere else in Richmond. It's truly beautiful, with the kindliest staff, and always so welcoming. It's got everything I look for, a magical place xxx

The hotel is an attractive building with an upmarket feel, about half a mile from Richmond, which is okay. We stayed two nights in a deluxe room for about £700, breakfast not included. Dinner was really lovely, with excellent food and very friendly service. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very overpriced, and the maitre d' was quite rude to some customers.

The hotel looks out over fields and the river Thames, and the location is truly beautiful. A phenomenal stay, with understated luxury and a lot of thought put into making it unforgettable.

Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable. It gave us exactly the space we needed to relax and host my bridesmaids on the wedding day. We stayed at the Petersham Hotel over our wedding weekend, and from arrival the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The front desk team was friendly and accommodating, and made everything seamless during such an important time in our lives. We're grateful to the Petersham for being such a big part of our wedding memories. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and celebrate!
