The staff really looked after us. I was staying an extra night while my daughter was at a nearby hospital, and the manager kindly offered help with parking or the room if my daughter wasn’t discharged until later the next day. At check-in, a friendly receptionist made sure I entered my car registration to pay for parking and offered to book us a table next door at beefeater. She also went out of her way to arrange a ground-floor room for my daughter with mine next door, as she’d requested. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was good, though the walls and skirting boards could use a fresh coat of paint. We had a lovely stay, and I’d recommend it. Thank you to the team.

I enjoyed my night there. The room was a good size, the bed was comfy, and it was very quiet. The staff were friendly too.

The convenient location worked well for Sheffield and Rotherham, with excellent disabled parking. Staff were helpful and friendly, and there’s connecting access to the Beefeater pub and restaurant, plus a Sainsbury's and cash machine next door. In the room, though, the carpets were dirty and the decor looked tired. There was only one towel for two people, cheap tea bags, no USB charging ports, and no smart TV or Google Chromecast.

I’ve been staying here for a few months and find it comfortable, with a very friendly atmosphere. The bar staff, Chase and Katie, make being away from home a pleasure.

It was clean and comfortable for a one-night stay, though the hotel could do with a refurbishment. Stephen at reception was fantastic, very helpful and made me feel welcome.
