A good place for a break. I liked the room and the service was good. One thing I found odd was that they didn’t replace the bottled water each day. Bring toothpaste, as a dental kit costs £2. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

We stayed here for our Golden Wedding three weeks ago, and it’s a very special place for us since we also spent our honeymoon here. The hotel left thoughtful gifts in our room, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent, our room was kept very clean, breakfast was plentiful and our anniversary dinner was delicious. The spa and swimming pools were a lovely spot to relax.

My mother and I stayed for a short break in November 2024. It was such a relaxing place, our room was beautiful and spotless, and the staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant staff were lovely, including Sarah, Monica and Francis. We enjoyed afternoon tea as well, with great service from John and Ashu. I was pregnant during the visit and felt very well cared for. Thanks to everyone at hotel de France. I recommend it to everyone.

The location is a little way from St. Helier, but I didn’t mind the 10 minute walk to the centre. We had a very nice two-night stay, with polite, friendly staff and attractive, well-kept grounds. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. Its bathroom decor looked a little dated, though everything was in pristine condition. The toiletries and local tea and coffee were a nice touch, and the fan came in handy in the warm weather. I’d recommend staying here.

Really lovely hotel, with a brilliant spa, big rooms, great food and a good bar. The staff were wonderful. Can’t wait to come back in February.
