The gym was great, and dinner and breakfast were lovely. I had the best fillet steak I’ve ever had. The afternoon tea, though, was disappointing. The scones were very dry, the little cakes tasted a bit stale, and the sandwiches were mediocre, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Staff we met were all lovely, and our room was clean, tidy, spacious, with comfy beds. The spa felt more like a leisure centre, with a small steam room and sauna, so it wasn’t the best for me as I’m a bit of a spa snob. I liked being close to the main motorway and a shop just a few minutes’ drive away, and there were plenty of parking spaces. Places like this are often in the middle of nowhere, so that was handy. We had a lovely one night Valentine’s trip, but I wouldn’t rush back.

My massage with Amber was one of the highlights. She was gentle and attentive, checked in at the right moments, and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. I left feeling calm and very well looked after. At dinner, Matthew, Chloe and Amber were patient and helpful with my dietary needs after a stomach operation. I know I wasn’t the easiest customer, but nothing felt like too much trouble, and that care meant a lot. I came to Forest Pines Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort for my 40th birthday, and Andrea and Coral at reception made it feel really personal. They were warm and caring, decorated my room, left a card and arranged food. Those thoughtful touches made me feel special. Thanks to everyone for making the birthday memorable. The staff’s kindness made the stay, and I’ll definitely be back. I’d highly recommend Forest Pines to anyone looking for a relaxing, caring place to stay. ♥️

Chloe made us feel looked after and comfortable the whole night, and her kindness, upbeat attitude and attention to detail really stood out. You could tell she cares about her work and the guests. The place felt relaxed but still upscale, and we had a great stay. Thanks for making our night so memorable.

We came back for another treat day this month because we were so well looked after the first time, and Chloe was there again. Even with the lounge incredibly busy at lunchtime, she made us feel as if we were the only customers. Her service was seamless, bubbly and hands on, and she made us feel pampered and never wanting for anything. I don’t know how she manages all that in heels. She’s a real asset to the hotel.

Chloe was fantastic at getting everything arranged for our birthday stay and making sure it all went smoothly. We really appreciate how accommodating she was. The hotel is delightful, and the grounds are stunning.
