A lovely find and worth every penny. The carvery had a great choice, and everything was fresh and hot. The meal was really tasty, and the staff were polite and helpful. We'll definitely call again. Thank you!

My granddaughter says these are the best burgers she's ever eaten, and she's already looking forward to coming over from Germany for another one at Easter. I just had one myself, and it was the best burger. Compliments to Sue the chef! The staff were kind too, making sure we didn't slip on the ice.

The atmosphere was good, and the bar staff are polite once you finally get served. But waiting 30 minutes for a drink because people were hogging the bar and getting preferential treatment is ridiculous. It feels basically like a Wetherspoons, except drinks cost three times as much.

We had a cracking Sunday dinner, with proper vegetables and a good choice of meats. You could go back for more, and the staff were brilliant. Our family likes the food very hot, so that was one small thing for us.

It's a lovely place, and we'll come back for drinks, but not for food. The vegetables were soggy and the meat had no flavour. Saturday's meal wasn't the right choice, and my husband was very unsatisfied.
