The building and venue are lovely, and the staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. The food and drink were excellent, with quality ingredients, and the desserts were to die for. Customer service was excellent too. My bed was super big and comfy, with quality bedding, and everything was immaculate. Breakfast was generous and tasty, though the food could have been a little warmer. I'd suggest China cups and saucers in the rooms to suit the building's grandeur, replacing the heavy crockery they use now. Those are just two attention-to-detail points. Overall, it was a very good stay and I'd come again.

The donkeys are very cute, but it was the staff who stood out most. Everyone took personal responsibility for any request or concern, which is service at its best. The hotel itself is superb too, with lovely gardens, generous spaces and well-equipped bedrooms, even the standard rooms.

We loved having so much to do across the huge Hawkstone estate, including free bikes and badminton. There are llamas and donkeys around as well, and in summer you can see plenty of fresh produce. The gardens are kept lovely, and the building is beautifully decorated. Our stay was immaculate.

The cakes were delicate and delicious, and there were too many for us to finish, so they kindly packed the rest in a little box. The sandwiches were nicely presented and still moist, which is tricky when bread can dry out. Fresh, homemade-feeling scones were delicious too. All of it came with great service in gorgeous surroundings. Afternoon tea can be hard to get right, but Hawkstone Hall managed it. Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to stay the night. It looks like a real treat.

Our whole group was impressed by the atmosphere and beautiful setting during our three-day Annual General Meeting at Hawkstone Hall. Angela and her team made the event unforgettable, with warm hospitality and attention to detail throughout. Angela's kindness and professionalism really set the tone. I can't recommend the venue highly enough for events or special occasions. Thank you all!
