Hawkstone Park Hotel

The grounds were beautiful, and the dining room looked elegant, with a lovely wishbone staircase. We were really impressed with this gorgeous hotel as the setting for our Christmas party. I was very, very drunk.

We stayed two nights for a friend's wedding on 8.8.25, and had a lovely time. The room had everything we needed and more: a very comfortable bed, blackout curtains, a fan, an iron and ironing board, a kettle, and drinks and milk sachets. The room itself was superb. The food was amazing and catering superb. Drinks were very reasonably priced for a hotel. The only letdown was breakfast, which wasn't as hot as we'd have liked, although the produce itself was lovely. Staff looked after the wedding guests so well, helping us get to and from the Follies, serving drinks and canapés, and sharing information about its history. They were friendly, supportive and accommodating throughout. I wish I'd got their names so I could thank them, especially the lady at reception. I'd definitely recommend the hotel. Abby and Howard made our wedding day run smoothly, with no stress or issues. We had the ceremony in the cave at the follies and the reception at the hotel. Guests praised all the work they did, and Abby even helped me set things up the day before. With extra guests joining for the wedding breakfast and more coming for the evening reception, Abby was very accommodating. The views at the follies were breathtaking, and it's beautiful for couples who want an intimate wedding. The hotel was spotless. Our belongings had been moved to the bridal suite, where a lovely surprise was waiting when we got back that night. The food was delicious, served warm and on time. It was a very long day, and Abby and Howard were exceptional. Abby was especially kind and welcoming to my family, our guests and us throughout the 18 months of planning. She was always polite and responsive. We'll never forget their kindness and hard work, and can't thank them enough for the wedding of our dreams. Highly recommend!!! x x x

The hotel is lovely, but it has a strong golf and corporate focus. Golfers will love playing in the stunning location. Rooms are pleasant, and staff are polite and helpful. There isn't a fridge, though a water dispenser is available for filling your own bottles. Breakfast is mainly cooked food, so the options aren't great for vegetarians or people avoiding gluten. It probably suits golfers. You can get nice meals throughout the day in either the restaurant or golf club. Hawkstone Park follies is within walking distance, and there are some nice pubs in nearby villages.
