Radstone Hotel

We live nearby, so the location works well for us. It was packed when we arrived, with a wedding underway, a busy restaurant and a private function too. The bar queue was something I don't think I'd ever seen before, and the bar and reservations area got really congested, with people squeezing past carrying drink trays. We were seated by the window, which felt cosy. Our drinks only showed up when we were nearly done with the starters, so we checked with two staff members. Still, the meal was absolutely delicious. We both tried dishes that were new to us, and as semi-regulars we weren't playing it safe. We were too full for dessert.

Breakfast was included and fantastic, so we definitely weren't disappointed there. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were focused on the customers. We stayed overnight for a wedding, and the Radstone is a lovely venue that hosts weddings very well. The ceremony, meal and reception were perfect, and the location is gorgeous. I'd definitely stay again.

The turkey was just how I like it, without gravy, and they served it that way. Gravy was available separately for anyone who wanted it. The food was delicious and the portions generous, with efficient service and clear descriptions of the main courses. There were five of us having our Christmas meal at the Radstone today. It was excellent, and I'd highly recommend the hotel. I'll likely come back next Christmas.

Dinner was really tasty and nicely presented, and breakfast was lovely too. The rooms were great, with a luxurious feel and awesome value. I had a fantastic stay. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, a real credit to the company. Many thanks, I'll certainly be back if I'm staying in Glasgow.
