We only stayed for one quick pint before heading to the busy pub around the corner. It was a Saturday evening and we were the only customers. The place felt worn and shabby, and it was very cold inside with no heating.

Service was very poor, and there was no John Smith's on draft. I paid £4.00 for a tin in Halifax.

There were loads of happy customers and people out partying. I played a gig there, and the staff were really friendly. Great beer and a lovely atmosphere.

I paid 13 weeks upfront plus a deposit, but from the first day there was no hot water or heating. All the tenants complained and notified them, and we were ignored. The rooms are advertised as flats, even though there's no kitchen in them. The shared kitchen had a rusty microwave and washing machine and nothing else. At times, there was no heating or hot water for over a month, and I have proof. I gave notice and moved out with two weeks still left, as well as my deposit. Since then, I've been called names and ignored, and they refuse to refund me. Do not book.

Thanks to Chevelle (sorry if I've spelled that wrong!) for the great service. The place is fun, with good drinks, pool and a pole. Facilities were clean too. ❤️
