The Old Station

The garden is beautiful, with parking and places to sit both outside and in. The entrance hall and breakfast room are sophisticatedly decorated, and the rooms are thoughtfully put together, with everything you need. Fantastic place.

Dean and Alisa couldn't have done any more for me, and their son Lewis was lovely too. They're some of the friendliest people I've ever met, and the warm welcome made leaving sad. The wide breakfast selection was delicious. The Old Station is in a beautiful, quiet spot, not too far from central St Andrews. I like a quiet life, and this four star bed and breakfast ticked all my boxes. The room was cosy, the bed was out of this world, the shower facilities were on par, excuse the pun, and the views were stunning. I could live here all my life. This'll definitely be my go-to stay in the future. Thank you!

We'd had no luck finding a room in St Andrews and were already driving toward somewhere else when we noticed a huge train carriage on someone's lawn. We turned the car around and stopped to take a look, and found it was a carriage on tracks, part of what had been a railway station. They had a room for the night, so we stayed. What a great find. The owners were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Downstairs the next morning, breakfast was a real feast and set us both up for the day. If I'm back in this part of the world, and I will be, I'll make a beeline for this lovely little place on the outskirts of St Andrews. Happy to recommend it.

We loved our stay here. The owners and staff were very friendly, and the location was superb, just a short drive from St Andrews and only 2 minutes from the Castle Course. There was a free pool, table tennis and a small golf bunker to practise on before playing at St Andrews.
