Braye Beach

Alderney feels like a very special corner of the British Isles, with lovely coastal walks close by. We loved staying here and hope to come back one day. The location is superb. Staff were all polite, friendly, and professional, and the rooms, though on the small side, were clean and had what we needed. Breakfast was very good, with some lovely local foods. Thanks to the whole team for their work.

The pâté was lovely, and the relish with it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. We came for Sunday lunch yesterday, and the staff were friendly and efficient. They quickly moved our table when we asked for one with a view of the bay, without any fuss. My roast beef was served medium, just how I liked it. The Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes weren’t the best I’ve had, though they were still tasty. Dessert looked good and tasted very nice.

The view of Braye beach was simply incredible. We stayed for two nights in January 2024, and the room was first class. The food and service were sublime, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, more welcoming, or more accommodating. What a fantastic place. We’d thoroughly recommend it and will be back!

The service is impeccable, and the location couldn’t be better. I’ve been coming here for many years, which is why I chose the Braye Beach hotel for our silver anniversary. It’s one of my favourite hotels in the world, hence the five-star rating. The bedroom windows look out over the beach and sweeping bay, a tremendous view.
