That was a really quiet night's sleep, and the garden was lovely. Breakfast gets ten out of ten too. The manager even drove us to our wake in the heavy rain, which was so kind. Thanks, mate. You wouldn't get that at a Premier Inn 🙂

I've stayed here five or six times before and had good experiences, so this was a real letdown. I arrived on Saturday 22nd Nov at 2:10 pm to check into the room I'd booked directly by phone with Loraine. She couldn't find any record of it. I clearly remember arranging the booking because we talked about the room I'd had last time, No 1. There were no rooms available, so I spent another hour and a half driving around Stockport trying to find somewhere. Four places were full, and I ended up at the Travelodge in Stockport town centre. They only had a family room at £149 a night, and I had no choice but to take it. The whole thing caused a lot of stress, ruined a trip I'd planned well in advance, and cost me a fortune. I can't trust direct bookings at Oakfield lodge now, so I won't be back. Sorry, Loraine, but you've lost a previously happy customer because the booking wasn't recorded properly or honoured. Not happy at all. Ian Ollerenshaw, Shropshire

We were able to leave our bikes with the friendly staff for the weekend, which was a big help. Breakfast was fantastic too. Great place to stay, and we're definitely planning another visit.

We had three spacious, comfortable, very clean rooms for my wife and me, our son, and friends after my daughter's wedding on 23.5.25. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were superbly helpful. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. What a gem, we'd definitely stay again.

The garden room had stunning views, and the rooms were clean and serviced every day. We had a great three-night stay at Oakfield Lodge, with friendly, fantastic staff and a great breakfast. We'll definitely come back.
