Kingswood

I’d never stayed in a B&B hotel before. They emailed me an access code, and the keys were in the room. In the morning, the staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was cooked fresh and served hot; I asked for muffins and a croissant, and they arranged them too. I’ve stayed at a lot of 4-star hotels in the country, and things here were very good. The sheets smelled nice and seemed clean, and the towels were packed. There’s an iron and stand in the storeroom on FF. Parking is available at both the front and back. Highly recommend.

The room was clean, simple and had everything needed. It’s well placed for the short walk to Stockton Globe Theatre, and the communication before the stay was fantastic.

The booking communication was spot on, with confirmation by both email and SMS. The woman who greeted me was very friendly, and there are several pubs and restaurants just a short walk up the road for dinner. I was in Stockton for business and found Kingswood after seeing its positive reviews, when other hotels were nearly £100 a night. I’m glad I took a chance: the room was small but tidy and had everything I wanted, including tea and coffee, a TV, a compact en suite, towels and clean linen. The bed was perfectly comfortable too. Great value, and I’ll definitely book again if I return to Stockton.

The key safe was straightforward to use, and my room was cosy and very clean. The en suite was immaculate, with fluffy towels and clean bedding. It’s a lovely b&b in a great location, and the breakfast was amazing. Thanks Karen & staff for a pleasant stay. I’ll definitely come back next time I visit family.
