Lymedale cost about two-thirds what we were paying at Travelodge, which has become very expensive. We visit Newcastle-under-Lyme often to see family, so the savings mattered. The room was a bit plainer than Travelodge's, and from outside the place looks like an office building, but neither was a major issue. It was clean and spacious, the radiator worked, and there were microwaves, hobs, fridges and kettles. We didn't eat at the restaurant, though the menu looked fine. The five stars reflect the value and service, not a claim that it's a Five-Star hotel. The lady in the office was very helpful when we needed to change our booking.

The room at The lymedale was brilliant, really spacious and spotless, with everything needed for the stay. Check-in was smooth and welcoming too. I'd definitely stay again.

Sandra was so caring and willing to help with anything. You don't meet many people like her. She goes above and beyond her duties. It's one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed.

We were really pleased with the family suite. The bedrooms were very large and everything was spotless. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Sandra at reception. It was handy being able to do laundry in the little utility room on site. We'll definitely use Lymedale Suites again.
