David was a lovely host and gave us some good dinner suggestions. The place was cosy, clean and comfortable, right by the beach and close to the centre.

I booked the courtyard room for one night because I needed to sleep, but constant loud tapping from the ceiling above the bed kept me awake through the night and early morning. I contacted them about it and got no response. I can't recommend a place that failed at this most basic thing. Unacceptable.

The morning ocean view through the big French doors was a real highlight, and getting in without a key was easy. We stayed in the Beachview Room, which was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The fridge was stocked with plenty of treats, including bakery bits and even a bottle of wine. Best wishes to David and his team for the future.

I loved sitting in the living room and looking out at the ocean. A great place to stay in Stonehaven.

The room had plenty in it, from fruit and snacks to a microwave and fridge, and the beach is right outside. Our host was warm and personable, and such a pleasure to talk with. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every bit of it.
