White Swan

On steak night, they’d run out of steaks by 7pm, even though the place wasn’t very busy. Booking was disappointing too: I’d told them my partner was gluten free and was assured they could cater for this. In the end, they had no gluten-free food apart from soup, and nothing for breakfast. The rooms are lovely, clean and well laid out. The White Swan is right in the centre of Lemington.

We were treated like good friends rather than customers at the White Swan, and the whole experience was superb. We were a party of 4 for the New Years Eve dinner dance, and everything from booking through to leaving the following day was fabulous. The staff had excellent customer service and genuine smiles, and the meal was top notch. The band was brilliant too. Our rooms were super, the beds comfy, and I loved the Molton Brown toiletries. Breakfast had excellent choices and the service was just as good. We’re definitely looking at booking again for next NYE. Thank you ☺️

We hired a function room at The White Swan for a literary event and spent the day there. The staff were incredible, and dinner courses were excellent. The pub area was warm and cosy when we stepped out of the function room, with an impressive fireplace.

A lovely old style pub and restaurant, with older style accommodation that’s nicely done. It’s very central, though parking could be tricky when it’s busy. The reception staff were exceptional and the place was very good. We booked a twin room and it was confirmed on arrival, but found a double bed in the room. They fixed that quickly. Breakfast was very good. I’d recommend it and would go again.
