Hotel Du Vin Stratford Upon Avon

Miranda deserves a special mention for looking after us at breakfast on both mornings. She went out of her way to make us feel special and meet our very particular needs, always with a genuine smile. A real credit to the team. There were six of us at Hotel du Vin, Stratford-Upon-Avon this past weekend. We enjoyed the stunning bar and breakfast area, and the rooms were lovely, including the fabulous shower once we got the hang of its very sensitive controls. The location was perfect, just beyond the busy town centre, with plenty of paid parking behind the hotel. The town itself is a joy to visit, whether it’s raining, as it very much was for us, or sunny.

The room we booked, Belle Epoque, was incredible, beautifully appointed, with lovely little touches and absolutely enormous. Exactly what we wanted after the wedding. We held our wedding reception at Hotel du Vin in Stratford upon Avon, and it was brilliant. Ewa Wasiluk listened to all our needs and requests, and delivered on everything. It was a small wedding, but the waiters and staff gave fantastic service. The food was delicious, arrived on time, and everyone was happy with their choices. Thank you all for making our day special. The breakfast was tasty, fresh and made to order. If you stay more than one night, they offer the option of skipping room cleaning in exchange for a free drink voucher at the bar. Parking at the hotel can be tricky, though there’s paid parking connected behind it. I had a junior suit for two nights. The room was spacious enough for a game of hide and seek, with a big bathroom that had both a bathtub and shower. The universal deco was great. The only thing I didn’t like was that the mattress was too soft for me. Great hotel, staff and location. Highly recommended.

A full vegan breakfast was a lovely surprise, since that’s so rare. The coffee was great and there are plenty of places nearby to park. Brilliant stay, with amazing staff and rooms. Thanks, everyone!
