The food is honestly some of the most delicious I've had, cooked to perfection. We had a Sunday roast here a few weeks ago and came back last night. The staff are super friendly too. We'll definitely be back!

We'd never stopped at the pub before, though we often pass it on our boat. We're currently frozen in at the bottom lock, so walked up for a couple of drinks. It's a very nice traditional pub, warm on a cold day, with friendly staff. The server made a fuss of our dog Gabriel and brought him water and a treat. We shared the dirty loaded fries for a light lunch and they were excellent. We'll return, maybe for a full meal next time. We only went into the pub, so can't comment on the rooms.

After walking at Kingsbury Water Park, we were looking for food and found The Dogs and Doublet just a six-minute drive away. It's got a traditional country pub feel, and the friendly staff made us welcome even though they were busy. My husband and I had the cheesy garlic chapati and soup of the day, both very good. Our son and daughter-in-law really liked their beef and Stilton pie with chips. The Halloween decorations were amazing, and I enjoyed a Jeremy Clarkson Cider. We'll definitely return.

Jacqueline, Gayle and David gave us such a warm welcome. We had a delicious Malaysian meal and a lovely evening chatting with friendly locals. It's a traditional pub right by the canal, with plenty of parking, and very convenient for the NEC. We would have stayed for Sunday lunch if we'd had time. We'll definitely be back!

We dropped in while staying at the nearby Camping and Caravan Site, and the staff were lovely and welcoming to me, my friend and our two dogs. The Sunday roast was delicious and the portions were a good size. There's a large car park, and I noticed a couple of motorhomes parked up with their occupants enjoying the pub. Looks like you can stay overnight if you have a drink or food.
