Holiday Inn Swindon

The F&B team were fantastic, especially Aisha and, I hope I got the name right, Rufus. Breakfast was amazing and the desserts were a highlight. Lalaine, the Guest Service Manager, was doing an outstanding job managing everything efficiently and professionally, and deserves a special mention. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with excellent customer service. I stayed for a quick stopover while travelling towards Wales. The location was convenient, not too far from the town centre, and free parking made things hassle-free. The hotel was tidy, comfortable and very well run, and the swimming pool was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, convenient place in swindon.

After a long work drive during the week, I only needed somewhere to sleep, so my expectations were low. The spotless room and comfortable bed were a pleasant surprise. Parking was free and plentiful, and I hadn't realized how relieving that would be until I could just pull in without fussing with apps or worrying about a ticket. It's no luxury spa, but for a clean room and free parking, it's a solid choice. Can't complain.

The food was good, with a good choice at breakfast. The pool area was nice and had a sauna. Our room had a funny smell, though. If we'd stayed longer than one night, we'd have asked to change rooms.

The service is first class, with staff who are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. That outstanding service is why I choose to stay here, even though there are quite a few hotels nearby. Rooms are always beautifully clean, although somewhat dated, especially the bathroom. The restaurant and bar areas are nice and always clean. It's only a few minutes off the M4/J15, but tucked away enough that there's little road noise. Highly recommended :)
