The cottage was easy to find, as were the parking and lock box, and check-in went smoothly. Nick was a friendly, helpful host who replied within minutes whenever I had a question. The cottage has its own website with all the information you could need and more. We had a lovely short stay, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The historic details made it feel like I was experiencing a piece of railway history, and the place felt like a home from home. I stayed for a week over Easter. The host was available 24/7 and did everything they could to make me comfortable. Can't wait to stay again.

I only stayed one night, but I'd move into this house and pay rent every month. The space is just right, and the bathroom and kitchen were spotless. I did find a sock in the bedroom, and it could do with being vacuumed more often. Still, I'd definitely return and recommend the converted railway cottage, 8A.

There's so much history here, and the little cottage is cosy, spotless and has everything you might need. It's in a perfect spot, with easy access to the outlet centre, Railway Museum and town centre. Nick was a fantastic host. I'll certainly book the cottage again for my next business stay in the area.
