The rooms could use a bit of attention, though the staff were polite and friendly. The Brewers Fayre over the car park had decent-priced, okay food. The bar got very loud with locals and some pretty colourful language, so it wouldn't suit young ears. Without the local yobs, it could have been a nice evening. You get what you pay for.

Easy parking and a pub and restaurant opposite make the location handy for us. We keep coming back to Premier Inn Swindon Central when we're in Swindon to see family and friends, and it feels like a home from home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with free tea and coffee. The staff are always warm and helpful, especially Mel and Jane, if I've got their names right, the blonde lady. See you again soon.

Free parking is a huge plus in Swindon, and it's convenient for the town centre. The Brewers Fayre next door serves a better breakfast than most budget hotels. The Premier Inn itself is clean and tidy and does the job, though it may be a little dated. It's a standard Premier Inn.

The receptionist was quick, helpful and polite. Our room was clean, tidy and spacious, with a tea and coffee tray, hair dryer, heater and a shower over the bath. There's no air conditioning. The hotel sits on an industrial estate beside a busy road, so it can get noisy at peak times, though the double glazing keeps most of it out. We haven't eaten at the adjacent Brewers Fayre yet, but its menu looks good and reasonably priced.

The bed was lovely and we slept really well. A very comfortable hotel, with secure parking and a child-friendly feel.
