We only came for dinner, so I can't comment on the rooms. After waiting almost an hour for our food, we left without it. The waitress blamed us when it never arrived. Such a shame, because the lovely blonde lady who's worked there for years tries so hard, but her amateurish colleagues let her down.

The building is nice, and the waitresses were nice too, but the food wasn't worth the money. We'd had a bad meal here before and gave it another chance for a birthday after quite a bit of time had passed. We ordered two Buddha bowls at £16 each, and added a few extras to the one we planned to share. That bowl actually came as a smaller portion, and it was basically bland, unseasoned rice with no flavour. Don't waste your money on the food. If you're staying there, there's a Sainsbury's down the road where you can get much nicer food for a fraction of the price.

The rooms are a fair size and I had no issues during my stay. It was my first time here today, and everyone, from reception to the bar staff, was friendly and polite. I had piri peri prawns, then sausage and mash. Everything arrived hot, and both the taste and quality were fine. A few drinks from the bar rounded off dinner. Thanks for a great first impression.

We stayed 08/11/2024 to 09/11/2024 and would definitely come again. The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely, with large walk-in showers. The cleaning staff were even scrubbing the walls in the communal areas, something I've never seen in a hotel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with generous servings, and the breakfast was presented really well, though I forgot to take a photo. I had the canun chicken burger in the evening. There were a lot of staff across the bar, restaurant, kitchen and cleaning teams, and everyone was helpful, polite and friendly. One issue is the menu could use more vegetarian dishes. Two people in our group struggled to find something and won't come again.
