Hundred House Hotel

We only came for Sunday roast and didn't stay overnight, but the food was stunning. All three courses were delicious, and the staff were really friendly. It's an amazing place, and you do need to book, but it's well worth it. If the accommodation is as good as the meal, you're in luck.

The gardens were a lovely extra, and the setting is beautiful. We had Sunday lunch and loved the whole visit. The food was delicious, nicely presented and served hot, with barely any wait. The service was polite and attentive. I'm sure we'll come back sometime.

We were there for the restaurant only, so I can't speak to the hotel. The roast beef was delicious, cooked rare as requested, and came with all the trimmings. My partner enjoyed the Roast Port too, and said the pear and ginger pudding was one of the best desserts he'd had in a long time. There's a good choice of food, and service was quick and friendly. The venue is beautiful, well located, and has good parking. There are dining areas upstairs and downstairs, so mention it when booking if anyone in your party has trouble with stairs. Dogs aren't allowed.

We came for Sunday lunch and the beef was cooked just right. The roast potatoes were great, the vegetables lovely, and the friendly staff took good care of us. It's an interesting, beautiful building in a nice village just outside Telford. We didn't book a room, so can't comment on those, though I'm sure they'd be five stars.
