Breakfast was better than we expected and cooked exactly as ordered. Graeme and Eileane were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and both were pleasant, professional hosts. The room had everything we could think of, including Alexa speakers and several ways to charge devices. Graeme explained how it all worked when we got there, which saved us figuring out the little quirks travellers often run into. A very good experience.

The room was spacious and clean, and they welcomed our dog too. The hosts were lovely and made us feel at home. Breakfast was first class. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast this morning was wonderful, and Graeme and Eileen couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. The owners' hospitality was matched only by their wonderfully friendly dogs. We stayed at The Hawthorns last night, a beautiful B&B with everything so thoughtfully appointed. Many, many thanks. We'll be back if allowed!

Just moments from John O'Groats and Dunnet Head, it's a great stop on the NC500. The hosts are lovely and super friendly, there's parking on site, and the room was great. Spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed and all the comforts you need at the end of the day. A good breakfast sets you up nicely for the day ahead. This is just the perfect B&B. Warmly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was VERY clean, had everything we needed, and parking was good. The owners were wonderfully friendly and helpful. They suggested dinner at the Northern Sands, a few miles down the road, and we'd highly recommend it too.
