Days Inn Chesterfield Tibshelf

The staff were really pleasant and attentive. Our ground-floor family room had a double bed and two singles, one of which could slide under the double to free up more space until needed. There was plenty of room for belongings, with coat hangers, shelves, an open wardrobe, a little desk, kettle with hot drink options, and a hairdryer. The bathroom had a large shower, no bath, and plenty of hot water with great pressure. The room was modern and very clean, with effective, fast air-conditioning. It was also very quiet, with no disturbance from traffic or other rooms.

I was impressed by how good this was for the price. It was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, and I'd happily recommend the hotel. I'd never stayed at a services hotel before, but this was honestly better than some higher-rated places I've tried. The staff clearly do a great job. I think Sue and Leslie were on reception during my stay, and they were both so friendly and welcoming.

For the price, this was just what we needed. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we had a spacious room with comfortable beds. Breakfast is through Costa: buy a £7.50 voucher at WH Smith and get £10 to spend. It works at Maccies too.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Days Inn at Tibshelf turned out much better than I imagined. Sue and Ellen were lovely, hard-working staff, and the room was great for our short overnight stop on the way north. It was really clean, the beds and linen were very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. We booked a family room, which made it very good value.
