The location has just two small drawbacks for us: the parking spaces are tight but workable, so please park considerately, and it's a bit of a walk up the hill from town, so you need to be reasonably fit. Neither bothered us, and we're coming back this autumn. We felt like we were staying with an aunt or uncle over the holidays. They were great with the kids, even making breakfast fun for them. Jonathan is a fantastic cook, with lots of good food to choose from, better than restaurant quality. The owners are warm, friendly and clearly passionate about running the place. It's beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and well furnished, and one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I honestly can't recommend it enough. Thank you, Sadie and Jonathan. ❤️

The walk to the seafront is only a few minutes, and the train station is about 10-15 minutes away. Jonathan and Sade were lovely hosts, and breakfast was great. The rooms and shared spaces are decorated to a high standard. Everything was spotless, warm and cosy, and the mattress was very comfortable. I'd definitely stay again.

We were in Torquay for an event and stayed one night. It's in an ideal spot and easy to find, with a very comfortable room and great facilities. The hosts gave us a warm welcome, and breakfast was amazing. What a gem, I'd happily recommend it.

It's only a short walk to the seafront and Abbey Sands. We spent two nights in a large double room on the ground floor. It was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the hosts were friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms have everything you need and are fitted out to a high standard. Jonathan and Sade made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We had a lovely overnight stay at the Kethla House, and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Thank you both for making it such a perfect stay. 🤩
