What stayed with me most was breakfast: the food was first class, the chef was amazing, and the homemade jam and omelette were especially good. They take allergies and menu choices seriously, so you can eat without having to guess, and you pick your table the night before, which avoids any awkwardness. We were even sent off with a big, carefully wrapped piece of fruit cake. The nearby restaurants were great too, with excellent service. Our room had been arranged with so much care, and all the little touches made us feel welcome and at home. The service throughout was incredible. If you've never tried a B&B, this one would make you feel relaxed and welcome. Highly recommend!

The fresh flower displays throughout the property were a lovely highlight, and the hospitality was extraordinary. We were welcomed with warm smiles by the hosts, a lovely couple, and homemade Rocky road and fudge. They also packed fruit cake for our journey home. The place has a beautiful feel to it, and it made for a lovely holiday. We booked at the last minute and arrived a little late, but they made sure we had a comfortable night without any fuss. It's within walking distance of the train station and the centre. I'd highly recommend it and would choose it over any other chain hotel.

We spent four lovely nights here, and Debbie and Rich's care made the stay special. The rooms are bright and airy, with everything we needed, including delicious homemade treats. The decor is just right, and fresh flowers throughout add to the welcoming feel. Breakfast is made to order, with a great menu, and Debbie is happy to provide something extra if you'd like it. The grounds are well kept, with off-road parking. Torquay Town centre is a pleasant 15-minute walk, and there's plenty to eat, see, and do nearby on foot. Debbie and Rich make sure you're well provided for. This place is a real gem in Torquay, and I can't wait to visit again.

Debbie and Richard were excellent hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. Our spotless room had comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful extras, and breakfast had plenty of choice. They even left a bottle of bubble in our room for our wedding anniversary. We had a lovely two-night stay and didn't want for anything. One of the best private hotels we've stayed in, and we left with some very nice homemade fruitcake.
