Whittlebury Hall & Spa

We enjoyed a walk around the grounds and drinks in the bar, which had racing memorabilia, during our one-night stay at Whittlebury Park. It’s a vast estate just off the edge of the Silverstone race track, and a wonderful location, though I imagine it gets very busy on race days. Our upgraded room was spacious, with an enormous bathroom, and the air conditioning was welcome on such a hot day. The facilities were typical hotel standard. We had dinner and breakfast at the same one of the two restaurants. There was a good choice of food, though I think the other restaurant has better options.

George made my husband's birthday dinner such a lovely occasion at Ashtons, even bringing a complimentary extra dessert. He was so welcoming and attentive, as were all the staff. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend for Andrew. We hope to come back for my birthday later this year. We had a great deal through secret escapes for our three-night stay at Whittlebury Hall. Room 250 was fantastic, with lots of space and a very comfortable bed. The golf courses were well kept and challenging, and we played three of the four over our three days. We also had a fabulous afternoon in the spa with access to the heat and ice spa. Our deep tissue massages were great, and Cara and Nicole worked hard on our bodies.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with lots of options. I did have to ask for tea, since it wasn't offered, which seemed odd. The main issue was the thin walls. The people next door were blasting music and screaming, and we could hear everything. Thankfully, I heard a staff member ask them to quiet down, and that sorted it. We also had afternoon tea during our one-night hotel stay. It was delicious, and the staff were helpful and polite. We were seated in a gorgeous room, and it was a lovely experience. I can't remember the staff members' names, but our booking was at 3:30, so hopefully they can be identified and receive the compliments. I'd return.

George was such a kind and wonderful waiter, a real credit to the team. The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming, and we got a room upgrade, which was a bonus. We had three-course meals in the restaurant on both separate nights, and they were phenomenal. My fiancée and I had an amazing stay for my partner's birthday and our anniversary. We'll be back soon.
