It's really out of the way, and the beach is just down the road, so it'd be great in summer. Our bedroom was called Mays, with crisp, luxurious bed linen, a combination microwave, and a fridge. The over-bath shower wasn't suitable for me at 80, or for someone six foot tall, as your head would be against the shower rose. All the bedrooms are on the first floor. The food was OK, as the photos show, but they add a discretionary 12.5% service charge. The walls are thin, so you can hear the people next door. 😆

We brought our dog and found it a perfect hotel, with fabulous walks along the coastal path. The rooms are a great size, the sea views are lovely, and the beach is only three minutes away. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was spacious, with a family room where the kids could hang out, and the location and parking were great. Breakfast was delicious, and otherwise we had a lovely stay. It was a little tired, though, with mould running down the swimming pool ceiling, and the raw chicken at dinner was disappointing.

Our son and daughter-in-law got married there at the weekend, and the whole experience was wonderful. The staff were welcoming and made sure every need was met. The catering was outstanding, and the accommodation was exceptional, with stunning views and space for our dogs. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The service was a letdown, with long waits for our dinner and breakfast orders and for the drinks and food to arrive. The dining area, rooms, and pool all seemed dated and in need of repair or upkeep, as the photos show. The Rosevine is in a wonderful spot with sea views, but it seems the owners may be relying on the location to attract guests instead of investing in the hotel's condition. For the two nights we paid more than £300 a night, the quality was poor and it wasn't worth the price. Management should invest in upkeep and improve the staff's service.
