A great B&B in a superb spot in Ventnor. The service was wonderful, Stuart was lovely, and breakfast in bed was a nice extra. My room was clean, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. We’d definitely come back, it might be the best place we’ve ever stayed.

The room had a lovely view, and I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed. The host was so welcoming and chatty. The picnic breakfast was generous and delicious 😋 Thank you.

From Lynda greeting me when I arrived to the moment I left, I felt welcome and well looked after. The room had a beautiful outlook, and breakfast was smashing. It was perfectly quiet with no traffic, but still only a short walk into town. I’ll definitely return. Thank you, Lynda and Stu.

Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and a huge shower. The lounge and breakfast rooms were a lovely bonus, as was having fresh milk for tea and coffee. Everything felt calm and inviting, and it was excellent value. We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. It’s a little way out, which made it quiet and peaceful, but Ventnor was still an easy walk away. The hosts were friendly and around if we needed anything, without being intrusive. A lovely, scenic place to unwind.

The breakfast came in a charming basket, and we ate it in the cosy breakfast area. It was simple, fresh and just right. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and we had a beautiful sea view. Coffee and tea were available in the room and shared living room, where there were also books, games, cookies and fresh water. Those little touches made the place feel relaxed and homely. Linda was a warm, attentive hostess from the start, and Cornerways itself has plenty of character, with elegant architecture and a lovely garden where we enjoyed sitting quietly. It suited the peaceful feel of Bonchurch, the picturesque village in Ventnor where my friend and I spent the weekend. Bonchurch seems almost suspended in time. Charles Dickens once stayed there, and its quiet, winding streets, grand old mansions behind stone walls and tall trees, and the birds and sea in the background made me feel transported into the past. It’s a special corner of the Isle of Wight. Our stay exceeded our expectations.
