Clarence House Apartments

We had a fantastic break here in July and would definitely return. Our Victoria apartment was in a beautiful old Victorian villa, with two floors that worked really well for a couple. It had a kitchen area and a small lounge, and the flat was spotless. The location was handy, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town centre, with plenty of free parking. There’s also a small shared outdoor area where we enjoyed a G&T after a day of sightseeing. Communication from our host was great.

The hosts kept in touch throughout, and the video explaining access was really useful, as were the ferry booking tips. David and Anna were lovely hosts and deserve their five star reviews. Carisbrooke apartment at Clarence House felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches for what a holidaymaker might need. The views across the park were peaceful at breakfast and dinner, and it was a great base for Ventnor Park, the town centre and the beach. We explored the Isle of Wight from here, and the children had a brilliant time at the lido. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the botanical gardens at Spinky's restaurant. We usually don’t return to the same accommodation, but we’re thinking of making an exception.

We had a great stay and highly recommend Clarence House if you’re looking for somewhere in the south. Ventnor Park is directly opposite and leads down to Ventnor Beach. We had our car and found plenty of street parking. We booked the Osborne apartment at the last minute for a weekend. David and Emma responded quickly from start to finish. A pet friendly place at a reasonable price was what mattered most to us. Everything was very clean and had what we needed.

The hosts were friendly, and the accommodation was excellent with lots of little extras. I stayed for a week, would recommend it to anyone and will definitely stay again.
