We came for my niece’s wedding and found a quiet, spotless place with a really comfortable bed and an amazing breakfast. Our room felt like a suite, with a large double room and full bathroom just outside, plus a smaller bedroom where we could leave our cases. The house is beautiful and full of history, and the grounds are extensive and peaceful. We were lucky with the weather and could sit outside. Taxis seem hard to find in Ventnor, but Robert kindly drove us into town twice. That’s service you don’t find everywhere. Thanks for a fantastic stay, Ruth and Robert 😊

We’d never visited Isle of Wight before, so my husband and I booked a long weekend at Lisle Combe. The secluded Victorian B&B turned out to be a lovely choice. Its beautiful interior and exterior have been well cared for, with many original features that give the place a relaxed, comfortable feel. The service was outstanding, and we had a truly memorable, enjoyable stay.

Ruth is a lovely host and cooked a great breakfast. Lisle Combe and its garden have loads of history and character, and it’s a magical spot for a getaway. The old house can feel a bit chilly, so bring an extra layer or two. That’s part of its charm.

The B&B is family run, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with good facilities and a lovely breakfast to start the day. Ruth, the owner, is a perfect host. The stunning house and gardens have sea views, and it’s a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to Ventnor. Would definitely recommend 😃. Gina x

The grounds are beautifully secluded, and the house and rooms are spectacular. We spent two nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s right on the coastal path and very close to the Botanical Gardens, making it a great base for family or friends exploring the island.
