The Weir Hotel

The pub sits in a secluded stretch by the river, and the pint was very nice. Service was friendly too. I haven’t seen the rooms, but downstairs looks lovely, so I can’t see why upstairs would be any different. I’ll definitely come back.

The location is very nice, and the people serving us were polite and friendly. The pub itself, though, really needs a makeover. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but it’s in dire need of work. The food and drinks were neither bad nor good. We had a burger, a pint of beer, and a Guinness zero, and the total was over £25. The quality didn’t justify those prices. I’ve rated the rooms as a general comment about the pub/hotel because there wasn’t another option.

We had a huge, delicious breakfast with plenty of great coffee, and it fully catered for us as vegans. The morning hospitality was 10/10. Staff who greeted us in the evening were warm and friendly too. The Weir Hotel is in a lovely, quiet setting, not too far from the airport. You can also bike along the Thames into London. Our room was modest but clean. I’d absolutely recommend it if you need somewhere to stay in London.

The setting is lovely, and the staff at the Weir hotel were so good with us. The single beds were much too short and narrow for me, so after one night we moved to another hotel. We’d prepaid for a week, but they refunded the whole stay. They didn’t have to do that, and we really appreciated how much they wanted to keep us happy. Thank you.
