The pub gets busy in the evening, but there’s a quieter spot out back if you want to sit away from the crowd. There’s a broad range of drinks, and the burgers and breakfast are well prepared. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The location is a big plus, with the main sights within 5 miles and easy to reach on foot or by public transport. The bed is comfortable enough and there’s just enough room to sleep, plus a locker for valuables and a USB and electrical outlet right by my bed. The beds and sleeping space could be better, of course, but that might mean paying more. It’s a good price for a night’s sleep, and I’d recommend it. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. People do their best to keep quiet, but moving around still makes noise.

I felt safe leaving my expensive equipment here, and I’ll definitely use the place again. Ken was a real help when I arrived at 02.10am with nowhere to stay, and was very accommodating. The pub feels welcoming, with a modern take on a traditional style. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and I slept well despite the single-pane windows. The wooden shutters help keep the warmth in. It’s easy to find, and the price is fair too. I couldn’t try the food because I had to travel on, though I was told it was very good.

A nice little boozer with a good young crowd and lots of board games for the evening. The staff are welcoming and forgiving. I had the chicken burger, and it was good. The fries were excellent, with a nice choice of beers and wines too. A lovely spot to sit and watch the rain come down.

A separate luggage storage area is available for a small fee, which came in handy for exploring after checkout. The lockable boxes are about 40x30x20 cm, so they suit small bags or backpacks. Bring your own lock and key if you can, though reception sells them too. Every bed has a reading light and charging point, so I could use my phone or laptop without bothering anyone. I stayed one night on a London visit and had a great experience. The dorms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the showers and toilets were spotless with good water pressure. Staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. I liked the z4-hour bar as a place to unwind or meet other travellers. The location is another strong point, within walking distance of the London Eye and convenient for reaching most attractions. It felt peaceful and safe. For the price and location, it’s comfortable and good value, and I’d stay again.
