We were in Edinburgh for two nights to visit our offices, and the tram and train station right next door made getting around easy. I slept like a log. Everyone on staff was kind and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and roomy, with Rituals hand soap and shower products, a big TV, good air conditioning, and a lovely rain shower. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, cooked options with Scottish touches, plenty of coffee choices, and even an espresso machine. The yoghurt was incredibly smooth and rich. There’s a bar with a good range of local lagers, plus the pool and fitness suite are included. Amazing for the money. Stay here!

The tram stop is about a three-minute walk away, as is a retail park, and the location is handy if you’re arriving by car. Parking costs extra, which I assume helps keep it under control, but hotel guests get a pretty good discount. The place wasn’t overcrowded, the facilities were great, and the staff were very friendly. I didn’t eat dinner there, but breakfast was good quality. I’d come back while exploring Scotland, using Edinburgh as a stopover.

Sharon and Marco from the restaurant team made a lasting impression on us. They were warm, welcoming, professional, and always seemed ready to do more to make sure we were comfortable. Their care made dining feel personal, and we’re grateful for their kindness and dedication. The hotel itself was modern and comfortable, with clean rooms, excellent facilities, and a calm atmosphere. Everything was well maintained, and the service felt thoughtful throughout. We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park and would gladly recommend it. We hope to return.

We had a fantastic dinner on Thursday, with some lovely wines. The food here is amazing, and the facilities cater for the whole family, dogs included. It’s also an ideal base for Edinburgh: the tram is easy to reach, so there’s no need to drive through the city. Murrayfield is about a 10-minute tram ride away for the rugby. Great for business, a family break, or a romantic getaway. This hotel is incredible.

Wasan was so friendly and accommodating when we needed to change rooms. Our first room was accessible, which we didn’t need, and had an issue with the toilet flush. As soon as another room was available, she moved us straight over and couldn’t do enough to help. We were delighted with the new room, and really appreciated her care. The hotel has a lovely, fresh, clean smell when you arrive. There’s a shopping centre opposite and a tram stop down the road that was easy to use, even on our first visit. Breakfast was okay, with plenty of options. The pool and gym are a welcome bonus, and we’d book again. We’re having a great first trip to Edinburgh.
