My rear-facing room looked out over the gardens and was very warm, nicely furnished and had a good en suite. Breakfast was left outside the room each morning, with an excellent spread of cereal, toast, cheese, fruit and yoghurt. The house is a little outside Winchester centre, which made it all the more peaceful. 31 Queens Rd was a very good choice for my short city stay.

Communication was easy, and the location was perfect. We had a great stay, with a comfy bed and pillows, a nice warm shower and an absolutely amazing breakfast tray. I'd definitely recommend it and would return when I'm in Winchester again.

We stayed the night to visit the Christmas Market, and the host made us feel very welcome and was helpful. The bed was super cosy and breakfast was lovely. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

I cycled to Winchester, and the host kindly let me store my bike in the garage and gave me a key so I could leave early without disturbing anyone. I also had an early breakfast for the same reason. The room was just right for me on my own, with a good shower and comfy beds. The host was friendly and helpful, and I'd definitely stay again.

My stay was brief, but I enjoyed it. The room was spotlessly clean, though it was the tiny twin room, and its bathroom is across the landing. It was easy to get to and just as clean. The floor felt pleasantly soft, and there was a small radiator if the standard heating wasn't enough. Gill was extremely helpful with bus information.
