The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout, and the facilities were very well equipped. The shower gel and shampoo were quality brands, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Even with the rain, we spent some time on the balcony with a glass of wine. The room was lovely and welcoming, with a birthday card and chocolates waiting for us, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. My sister and I stayed for 2 nights this week. Helen was a legend and made us feel valued and welcome. Breakfast was fab, with a great choice and everything cooked just right. We'd love to return and highly recommend it.

We booked room 14 for one night for our wedding anniversary. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates, a lovely touch. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was excellent. The bathroom had both a bath and a walk-in shower. It's about a 15-minute walk to the lake and shops. Highly recommend, and we'd definitely stay again.

We got a cheeky upgrade when we arrived, I guess because of the time of year. The room was warm and cozy, and the bed puts mine to shame 🤣. There was even a TV at the end of the bath! The lady who runs the place is lovely. Fantastic hotel, and next time I'm back in windermere I'll stay here.

I forgot to write this earlier, but no other place compares. The staff were lovely and the food was great, and I felt so much at home. This was hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and I already want to go back!
