Travelodge Windsor Central

The best part of our stay was Tara, who made us feel welcome and helped us get our bearings. Thanks especially to her for making the visit even better. Our room was standard and clean, with no real issues, and we were lucky to have a great view of Windsor castle. The location was very central without being too noisy. A really nice stay.

Breakfast was tasty and good value, and the room was good too. We had a lovely stay, with an easy walk to the castle. The staff were very friendly, particularly Sandra, who pointed us in the right direction when a medical problem came up.

The location is hard to beat, with everything so close. You can pay extra to choose your own room, which is useful if you know the layout. Before that option was available, I stayed in the crappiest room, and it nearly put me off coming back. The manager and staff also went above and beyond by accepting deliveries before I arrived and storing them safely. You get what you pay for, so don’t expect anything fancy, but I’m looking forward to my next stay!

Great location, but there’s basically no sound insulation from outside. We could hear cars on the road and even people talking down on the street. The single-pane glass window might have been just as effective, and yes, we checked twice that the windows were properly closed.
