Gilson, Alla and the team were so friendly and cheerful whenever we saw them, and the service was great. When work kept me from getting to dinner before closing, they reopened the kitchen and made me a lovely meal. Then, when my heating stopped working, they changed my room quickly and cheerfully. Thanks to them all.

The self-check-in system is slow, and I don’t like having to press a button to call someone from the front desk whenever I need help. They usually responded pretty quickly, though. Staff were the biggest negative for me in terms of numbers, but we were very pleased with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The room was clean and the baby beds we’d asked for in advance were set up for our two babies when we arrived. There was some wear on the walls and no bathroom hooks for things like toiletry bags, but those were minor issues that didn’t take away from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. It’s right in the middle of the city, with food choices all around and everything easy to reach on foot. Of all the Premier Inns we’ve stayed at across Europe, this was one of the nicest and best located. Great location, good value, and a great breakfast.

Anam’s service stood out during our stay. She was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The hotel is centrally located, and the rooms are quite comfortable and decent for the price. I’d recommend it for business in the city, and I’d consider staying again.

Maisie was the one good part of this breakfast experience. She was kind and professional, apologized sincerely, and gave me a full refund. When I told her I was vegetarian, she arranged vegetarian sausages, vegetarian bacon, and scrambled egg, and kept asking the chef to make more food. He abruptly asked how many of each I wanted, which seemed odd when breakfast is advertised as unlimited. I arrived at Premier Inn Woking at around 10am and supplies clearly hadn’t been replenished. There were only a few slices of bread, no continental pastries, and very few cooked options. The “chef”, and I use that term loosely, was grumpy and unhelpful throughout. About five minutes after asking what I wanted, I was served two rashers of vegetarian bacon, two sausages, and a slop of almost raw scrambled egg. It was completely inedible. The sausages were so hard I couldn’t cut them, and the egg was undercooked. I tried a little, but it was genuinely the worst breakfast I’ve ever attempted. I pushed it aside and asked for a refund. There were still no pastries, and I left extremely disappointed and quite unwell. I won’t be eating breakfast there again. The food and the chef’s attitude were appalling.

Good location, and the price is fair for the area. The rooms are standard Premier Inn, so nothing surprising there. The restaurant guys are really friendly, especially Anam. Big shout out to her for making us feel welcome and being so nice. Thanks, it makes a difference.
