Premier Inn Woking Town Centre

Gilson was great, handling the restaurant on his own while also checking guests in. He was friendly and professional. The rooms are a bit dated, but they were comfortable and clean, as usual, and I’ve never had an issue. The station is an easy five minute walk away, and there’s a shopping centre nearby for errands or a bit of shopping. I’d highly recommend this Premier Inn.

The room was fine and the staff were friendly, but it was a little noisy being beside the lift, with the call bell going off constantly. Watch out for the sharp corners on the mattress base, I cut my toe on one. The restaurant team took food allergies seriously while preparing our meal, and Krish did a great job with breakfast. Good location, too.

We weren’t hotel guests, just came in for the breakfast buffet, but the welcome and care from the staff made it a lovely visit. The food came out quickly, the kitchen handled requests efficiently, and everything felt well organised. We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the staff joined in and sang for her, which made the occasion feel joyful and memorable. It was a really warm experience, and we’d recommend the place.

Anam and Klaudia gave excellent service and are a real credit to Premier Inn. We spent Saturday at Thorpe Park, a 16 minute drive away, and Brooklands and Mercedes Benz World are also only about 15 minutes by car. Woking surprised us with its shopping, restaurant choices and green spaces. The hotel is centrally located, and we stayed over the Bank Holiday weekend. Victoria Square car park cost £9.50 overnight. I’d definitely return, though the wall beside the bed had an old tea or coffee spill from a previous guest that hadn’t been cleaned.
