Harrabeer Country House Hotel

After a long day walking in the rain, it was such a lovely stop. The welcome was warm, the room was great, and breakfast was just right. Dylan the dog made it even better.

What makes this place especially lovely is the welcome from Linda and Aidan and the amazing breakfasts. They’re friendly, accommodating, and so knowledgeable. I especially recommend the scrambled and poached eggs with homemade muffins. The hotel has plenty of character, and the rooms are well equipped, with a good selection of tea and coffee. It’s at the edge of the national park, and Dylan is a lovely dog who makes the stay feel like home. We’ll definitely visit again.

Breakfast is lush, with homemade bread and muffins, plenty of homemade marmalade, and local produce for the full English. The relaxed, friendly vibe carries on over breakfast, where happy guests all chat together. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. The location is fantastic, the decor is beautiful throughout, and the hosts really care about making your stay perfect. Our room had quality furnishings, everything we needed, and lots of thoughtful touches. The mattress was wonderful and I slept so well.

Dylan was the cherry on top, and I’m still singing Linda and Aiden’s praises since getting back to Tasmania. I’d never stayed at a B&B before and didn’t expect to be welcomed in the driveway like family. The warmth and hospitality you both showed was such a lovely surprise. Staying in your home made me feel like family and royalty. Your cooking was amazing, and the hard work and care you put into the business made our trip through England even better than I expected. You have a special gift, and you’ve set the bar for any B&B I stay in from now on. Thank you for such a delightful stay.
