Best Western Plus Aberdeen

The rooms were clean, breakfast was fresh, and the staff were very kind. I booked two months ahead and requested a handicapped room because of mobility issues, but at check-in they said there were no handicap rooms available because construction workers were there. We got a room at the far end of the hall, which turned out to be difficult for me. The trains weren't a problem, though we were put in the room closest to them. The hotel was nice overall.

The train tracks run literally right next to the property, and the 5:30 wake-up horn could surprise some people. It didn't bother me. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a very nice place to stay in Aberdeen. I'd recommend it.

The room felt dirty, poorly maintained, and insecure. There was a punch hole in the bedroom door, which looked like a sign of previous trouble and poor upkeep. Outside, I saw apparent drug use and homeless people fighting near the property. A loud train went by at midnight, lighting up the room and making sleep impossible. I tried several times to reach the front desk about these concerns, but nobody answered. After waiting four days for a response, I spoke with Lisa, who said she was both the manager and district manager. She told me the owner knew about the issues but didn't care, and that outside security cameras were all they did. I was also told there'd be no refund despite the safety concerns. The experience was deeply unsettling and frightening. The room, surroundings, and lack of customer support left me concerned for my personal safety. I urge people considering this hotel to choose another location and prioritize their well-being.

Ashlynn from breakfast was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The front desk also got us towels for the pool, and it made for a great stay. It was way overpriced for the area at $192, though. If my friends hadn't lived so close, I probably would've rented a room in Olympia for $80 with all the same amenities.
